Ozzy Osbourne tours to continue

It seems that there are a lot of people reporting on music and musicians that don’t understand the work of the people they are reporting on, or the musicians at all really. There has been a lot of talk recently about Ozzy Osbourne retiring from touring after the his current (No More Tours II) tour. There are also a number of people referring to the tour as his ‘farewell tour’.
As far as I am aware this has not been announced as a farewell tour. No more tours is a play on his song No More Tears and the fact that there is a numeral after the name of the tour should point you in the direction of some tongue in cheek marketing. Even if the tour was named the ‘I’m never going to tour again tour 2’ I would still have questions.
Ozzy himself has come out to discuss these retirement rumours stating –
“People have gotten that all wrong, the tour should have been the Ozzy Osbourne ‘Slowing Down Tour’. What I’m actually doing is not going out on January 1 and coming back on December 31. I’ll still tour, but not as extensively like I have been for the last 50 years.”
Ozzy joked that if he continued with his current tour schedule he would soon be found “dead in a hotel room”, something that given his previous touring schedules and legendary behaviour have luckily not resulted in.
“I mean, I have grandchildren now and I’m 70 years old and I don’t want to be found dead in a hotel room somewhere. I’m going to do it at a more leisurely pace and do some shows in Vegas… but I’ll never stop,” the former Black Sabbath frontman went on.
“The whole lifestyle I have lived, it has all come down to the fact that there are people who want to hear me and as long as they want to hear me, I’m there.”
